[Hand Path] When a player’s hands work vertically in transition, whether due to lack of depth or trying to come from the inside, the effect is generally a very steep shaft. It can seem counterintuitive, but ensuring the hands work out or towards the golf ball may be the missing piece. It is difficult to say if this is a problem you have without seeing video so take a look and see if it is what you need. . . . #golf #golfer #golfswing #golfinstruction #golftips #golftiktok

Shallow the shaft with your hand path. From the top, I want to see the hands work towards the golf ball. Not only is it the fastest way from point A to point B, but the change in direction pitches the shaft shallow. What I see a lot of players do is pull down or drop the hands. That's going to keep the shaft steep and the trail arm gets stuck. We get a lot of run-off hooks. So from the top, the hands are going to work more towards the golf ball. That way the shaft shallows and I can work through it unimpeded.
