I’m one of the best in the world at helping people figure out what to do next. It’s a very weird skill. And people struggle with it because it’s actually the balance of multiple skills. To figure out what to do next you have to know what you want, what is normally required to get it, what you are capable of, what your current life situation is, and what is a realistic step based on those variables that will move you closer to your goal. And even the very first one, knowing what you want, can be a huge challenge. Most people try to only solve for one of these things. And when it works it’s great. But a lot of life is messy and if you want to move forward you can’t just do what works or do what you can do. If you don't take care of yourself, you will burn out. I know people that have an average sale price of a quarter of a million dollars. And they have to do something for themselves, or they will go to bed feeling like there's nothing to live for the next morning. This is relevant no matter where you are. Because no matter where you are, you can create a situation where you feel like you're at the bottom. If you are doing nothing for yourself, to the point that when you go to bed, you know that when you wake up, the only thing that will be facing you is work eventually your mind will wear down. But if you go to bed and you know that there's something tomorrow that could give you life, then over time you will ingrain a sense of hope, a sense of growth, and a sense of optimism. #mindset #motivation #mentalframeworks #selfdevelopment 0:47
