Fix your driver off the tee with Rory Mcilroy’s favorite drill! ⬇️ First take your driver and grip it the same way you would with your left hand but with our right hand, we are going to grip all the way down to the graphite part of the shaft: if you feel like your holding a hockey stick, your doing it right Then take some practice swings The reason why Rory likes this drill so much is because it puts him in a great backswing position in the backswing BUT it also gets him to in a great position in the downswing by creating a lot of width & keeping his right elbow in front of his body instead of behind.
