Guys! Slow it down! Break it down. I’m a big believer in increasing your ability to control your body/sequence. Because that controls the shaft. You probably saw the iron version of this drill. A lot of people were asking if this can be done with a driver. Absolutely! Too many players stand on the range and bang ball after ball. And yes, that’s all well and good, but if you’re not practicing with an object, then you’re not getting better. Are you trying to shallow? Then shallow. Go as slow as you need to to make the movement happen. Are you trying together bigger turn? Then do tons of freezers and slow full swings to make sure you complete your turn. Working on not rolling the club inside? Then stand that sucker up vertically, stop, then go. I tell my players “I want every rep to be correct.” That’s means slow it down, break it down. Don’t hit and hope.
