People who turn the wheel away from the ball in the backswing generally also roll the club inside and open in the takeaway. These same players tend to turn the wheel towards the ball in the downswing and this creates an over-the-top shape. If you struggle with this try turning slightly towards the ball in the backswing. This will make it easier to turn away from the ball in transition creating a much more efficient shape through the shot. Hit more flushers.
