dated my bio and all the social platforms because a lot of people ask me, how did I get here? What did I do? I was born in the Philippines, 100% Filipino. I'm just a little pale right now. And then I graduated Berkeley with degrees in computer science and physics and $250,000 in student debt. Right out of college, I started Curious with my future husband. I was the CEO, he was the CTO, and we were doing natural language processing in healthcare. We did close pilots with billion dollar pharmaceutical companies, but ultimately failed to reach product market fit. Pivoted the company a ton, really, really painful. Eventually, we settled on real-time call guidance for sales and customer support because those were high ROI conversations that people were willing to pay for to improve. Combined streaming telephony infrastructure with real-time speech recognition and natural language processing years before ChachiBT. 2018, I made the Forbes 30 under 30 list. I was still living in a living room of a two-bedroom San Francisco apartment with roommates in each room. At 30 years old, I sold Curious in an equity sale to Pegasystems in a combination cash and stock deal. Integrated the Curious product into Acquirer's platform and launched PegaVoice AI, which is now used by thousands of support agents. And then I started dabbling in angel investing, seed funds, crypto, psychedelic medicine, but mostly just recovering from burnout. Nature and reading helped me a lot. I actually lost 50 pounds just to get back in shape. Earlier this year, in 2024, that's when I started making free content to teach one million people AI. And so far, I've grown from zero to half a million followers in six months with no budget, no team, no paid ads, no masterminds, and no expensive courses. I launched my side project, Bloatato, to help other creators do the same. Distribute high-quality content per week on multiple social channels by combining AI and automation.
