Most people go into reporting. If you wanna be a great storyteller, you relive the story. Pick the incident, pick the when, you pick the where, you describe a little bit about the where, what, and what was the context, and then you bring the characters to life. You even give them a voice. All of a sudden now, you're seeing something happen right in front of you. When you report a story, no one feels what you felt while that thing that happened to you happened to you. They don't feel that unless you relive it, because if you relive this, they feel it. They're gonna feel it, because they're experiencing it right there. That's the power of storytelling.
