Car dealers are using Uber for parts... and it’...
One of the things that I saw that shocked me, because I had never thought of this before, we don't do it, parts delivery. How did that idea come about, Cody? Well, funny was that before Matt and I met, one of our big stores down in Tampa had actually been using it for parts pickup and they were just raving about it. He said, this cuts our labor costs by a large margin, we're getting the part twice as quick, our guests are happier, we can turn waiters faster, and it was just best thing ever. It really speeds up parts delivery from what we consider the traditional, put the driver in the van, send them somewhere, bring them back. It's the same as if you were gonna schedule a ride for yourself to an airport. You key in where it's being picked up from and where they need to go and they secure the part and deliver it to the dealership. What does the volume look like for you in a typical month with parts delivery? It looks more than 100. Wow. Use case is high and low depending on the store, but we have some of our stores that are using it multiple times a day. Whatever gets it fastest to the lift for the technician.
