If you're looking to get your first automation consulting side hustle client, then this video is for you. I'm going to share my exact playbook, but first there are a couple things that I want us to keep in mind. First, a deal can be worth anywhere from $4,000 to $37,000. That's the range of deals that I've closed at least. So it really only takes one client for you to start making serious money, and virtually every business is looking for this exact type of work and skill set. Second, you don't need to be technical. I'm not a programmer and that hasn't held me back at all. I use tools like make.com and Airtable that are totally no code, that are really, really powerful and durable. So in order for us to land our first client, it's going to be really important that we have something in our portfolio that we can use as a case study or when we're on client calls. Here's an example of a nice portfolio project. So imagine that a client has a contact us page on their website. And whenever someone clicks submit on that form, we want to gather the data in a web hook. And then we want to look up that record in Airtable and then pass specific parts of the information that we received into OpenAI so that we can generate a personalized response to the person who reached out to us. And even though it's pretty simple, a client will be really impressed with this type of work. I love making this kind of content.
