there's this perception that AI will just take all of our jobs. No, the answer is, like, AI is going to create a fundamentally different economy, which has, like, a fundamentally different mix and kind of job, but that will probably net create greater demand. In many ways, the invention of AI came from this concept of the Turing test, which is, at what point do you have an AI that can fully imitate a person? And because of that framing, we've thought about AI as a replacement for humans. Professor Brunolfsen argues it's a trap. What's actually going to happen is AI systems that sort of, like, slowly walk up the capability curve. And as they come in, most of the value is going to be generated from sort of basically hybrid human AI systems. And it's going to be, like, through some interesting and complex and nuanced interaction between human capability and AI capability that you're going to get very economically valuable things to occur.
