Vital adoption of new technologies always follows a three-step process. Step one is ignore. Asset classes, it's 100% based on sort of greater fool theory that somebody's going to pay more for it than I do. Step two is refute. Can this oligarch make it harder to trace his money if he hops from one blockchain to another, if he deposits those tokens into a couple of wallets that don't require him to provide identifying information? Step three is name calling. Sometimes I call it crypto-crapo, and sometimes I call it crypto-shit. And when it's a thing, it represents a reordering of power and status, right? You know, it basically shifts who's in charge and ultimately, right, who makes money and all the other things.
