If you're only using ChatGPT inside of ChatGPT you're missing something. Let me show you how you can make ChatGPT draft email responses for you directly in your inbox without any AI apps or plugins. First thing you're going to do is you're going to go to zapier.com. In this top bar you're going to type in create email copy with openai from new gmail emails and save as drafts in gmail. Hit go and what you're looking for is gmail openai gmail. That looks perfect so just hit try it. Okay now if you haven't used Zapier before this might look a little overwhelming but it's actually super simple. Each of these are steps. First this step happens then this one then this one. First you're gonna have to link your gmail account. Mine is already done. Change the trigger event to new email. Hit continue. On the configure page for label or mailbox you can either have it go through any email that comes into your inbox or you can select a certain label. We're going to go with the entire inbox for now. Now click on the second bucket. Once again you're going to have to connect your openai account. For action event hit send prompt. Now this is important. In the prompt bucket you're going to type in write a draft response to this email. Hit enter enter and then hit backslash. It's going to open up this little thing and you're going to select body plane. Now click on the third bucket and for action event you're going to change this from create draft to create draft reply. Hit continue and in thread you're going to hit the backslash again new email in gmail and then scroll down and click on message id. Finally in the body hit the backslash click on send prompt in openai and tap response. Click continue and hit test step. Now if we go back to gmail there's our draft and so now when I go into my inbox I don't just have emails. I have emails with drafts already waiting for me and that is how you make ai actually useful.
