You guys invest in a time machine company. You have one minute to be able to go back in time to 23-year-old Laila Hormozy to tell her anything you want. It's OK to be weird. I felt like I didn't fit in as a kid and older, like I didn't have that clique friend group. I was not a cool kid. I tried to become the opposite of who I really was for a lot of my life. There's just a lot of stuff about myself that I think I used to reject and try and hide. And when I started making content, I think a lot of that came out. I'm like, all right, I'm going to try and talk about all these other things, like shopping and this. I'm like, I don't give a fuck. And the more I've just leaned into being OK with being weird, being OK with being misunderstood, my life has gotten better. I think that I've attracted better people for the team. I've showed them that it's OK to be themselves, which feels really good because I think a lot of people spend most of their lives trying to hide who they really are. And I just don't want that for anybody else because that's fucking exhausting.
