AI wrapper startups continue to print money, even though AI wrappers get a bad rep. Lots of examples today of successful AI wrapper startups doing really, really well. The first wave of AI wrappers, when ChatGPT first came out, were around content creation and writing, such as Jasper and Copy AI. And they grew revenues tremendously, even though they were just wrapping ChatGPT. The current wave of AI wrapper startups we're seeing explode in revenue are around core developer workflow. So things like Cursor AI, Lovable, and Bolt.dev have exploded in revenue, even though technically they're AI wrappers around core foundational models. And though AI wrapper startups get a bad rep, they can still be widely profitable from a business perspective.
