Fix your right elbow! #golf #foryou #foryoupage...
Are you struggling with a flying right elbow in that backswing and really having a hard time making good contact? Let me help you fix that. Take your left hand and tuck it right above that right elbow. So I'm holding the golf club in my right hand, left hand above my right elbow. I'm going to swing into my backswing and feel I'm keeping that right elbow in. It's going to force you to turn really nicely, which I love, but it also keeps that elbow in. It's going to keep the club on plane. Sometimes when that right arm flies out too much or that right elbow flies behind you, it's really hard for most players to time it up and hit good shots. From there, most amateurs would be better served getting closer to a neutral position. So again, tuck that arm, swing back, let the club go through, and then have that same feeling of that right elbow pointing down toward the ground more when you swing back with both hands on the club.
