I'm going to tell you a theory that I use to get everybody that I know to be an entrepreneur. Startups have to have two kinds of people on their team. Operators and experts. If we look at it from the perspective of traditional higher education with college, then we can think of operators as people who study business and they're operators because they understand how to do operations within a business. Think people who know how to do marketing, sales, supply chain, etc. None of those people can actually market or sell something without having a product or service behind it and that's where experts come in. Experts are people that have specialized knowledge in specific areas that allow you to see problems and then make businesses out of them. So now you might be wondering how does this work together and why do these two people need to make a company? The reality is that business people are not studying a specific industry. Businesses can be made about many different industries so it's really hard to make a business without having some type of specialized knowledge or area that you're going for. That's why we have startup teams like Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak which is someone's storyteller to someone's technical. So if you know what area you fall under, either an operator or an expert, you can start to find your missing half and all that's left to do is find people who are passionate about a similar area. I could make a whole other series about brainstorming ideas but I wanted you to think about what kind of person are you so that you can start looking for your entrepreneurial community. I want to introduce you to that entrepreneurial girl where we break down business and entrepreneurship lessons so that anyone can be an entrepreneur.
