Companies almost never think about this, but login. Like login is really important for growth. Most companies put login teams inside of security. So the login team lives inside security team. And what is the security team responsible for? What is their metric? They're responsible for stopping that, guys. So are they obsessed with making all the marginal users who are having struggling to log into your product, making sure they can get in? Heck no, they're not doing that at all. And it took us a long time, honestly, Facebook, to like really figure out that we needed to have an explicit login team inside growth. But when we did, it was fantastically, fantastically impactful. You know, here's a classic one. You go to do your password and you're like, I can't remember my password. So then you go to like password reset. And we've all done this before. You type in and it's like, okay, cool. I go to my email, I get the link. And then they're like, okay, you have to create a new password. And you're like, okay. And then you type it in. And what does the damn thing say? It says, you cannot use your existing password again. Right? And you're just like, are you effing kidding me? Just like let them log in at that, like. They're not actually trying to reset their password. They're trying to just get it.
