OpenAI's president gave away the simple four-step structure that they use for making prompts. The structure includes four sections. The first one is the goal. This is where you tell chatGBT exactly what you're trying to achieve. You want to be crystal clear with this and give as much detail as possible. The second category is the return format, and this basically dictates the format of the output that you want, whether it's a table, whether it's a list, whether it's a paragraph or a summary. This is where you really tell chatGBT the exact format of the output. The third category is warnings. This is where you remind chatGBT of different types of rules or restrictions that you want to put on the request and make sure that chatGBT is checking certain things. And the last category is the context. This is where you tell chatGBT about the situation, about yourself, why you need this request, who you are. The more personal it can be, the more detail that you can give, the more context that you can provide, the more catered and personalized the responses will be. That's the anatomy of OpenAI's prompts and the four-step structure that they use. Make sure to leverage this in your own prompt engineering and follow for more AI-related content.
