Rarely do I get to say something that is this big a deal. I have been waiting two years for this to be true. Claude can now search the internet. Claude is a competitor of ChetGPT. If you're wondering, why use Claude? Honestly, it is phenomenal at writing. It is phenomenal at coding. Both of those, you sometimes need to check the internet. If you're coding, you need to check for documentation. If you're writing, it would be helpful to know present state and not just have to yell at Claude about what happened in the past. So I am super excited because there is now an option just to enable web search and Claude can just search the web. Claude now knows what is actually currently going on. Yes, I know that ChetGPT already does this. No shade on ChetGPT. I'm glad they enabled web search as well. More tools are good. But as someone who uses multiple tools, including Claude, I am super excited today. And if you haven't checked out Claude, check it out. Get a hands-on feel for how it's different from ChetGPT. It's a different personality, for lack of a better term. It's warmer. It's friendlier. It feels more thoughtful. ChetGPT feels a little bit cold and sterile sometimes. So check it out. I had fun.
