Every company will *need* an AI knowledge base…...
Every company is going to need a central AI knowledge base, basically a place to collect all your company information and knowledge and be able to imbue them in the AI assistance and automations that your company will end up using. This is because the promise of AI only comes when it truly understands our business context. Let me show you what I'm talking about here. Say I'm trying to build an AI automation that will automate my customer support processes. If I just ask chatGBT to write a response to a customer email that comes in, it's not going to be able to actually answer the questions of a customer. But when you have an AI knowledge base that's connected to all of our internal information, you can actually build a workflow that's connected to something like Zendesk to actually respond to customer email because it's attached to our Google Drive, our Confluence, all of our different data providers. Just one example there. But the real unlock of AI is going to have to do with how can you actually give it the context about your business, be able to do things that humans could only do previously. Another example here would be responding to RFPs. This is a workflow that takes an RFP question, searches inside of all of our knowledge of previous RFPs, and then generates an answer to that based on all of our previous RFPs. Unless AI knows totally about your business, all your case studies, previous RFPs, it's not actually going to be able to automate that process. Before we get to true automation, context is going to be king. Every company is going to need an AI knowledge base.
