Open. Yeah, that's a slice. DJ would call that a power fade. A power fade. One of the biggest things first is grip and alignment. Set up ball position. Sure. With our grip being too weak, meaning obviously we would have a, when you hit that right in the center, left hand that we wouldn't see any knuckles, right hand where we'd almost see the entire backhand. So that's going to make it very difficult to close the face. A hundred percent. We lose rotation of forearms. So we would want to move that person to two and a half knuckles, three knuckles. I wouldn't go overly strong with anybody there, but two and a half, three, if we have to move them further with the hand, that way the V is going more towards the right armpit. And then our V of our right hand can also do the same thing. Is it fair to say that the meat of the hands are a little bit more on the right side of the grip? Yes. Yeah. If you're thinking of the meat of the hands, it's like your pads are more on the right side of the grip. And that's going to help you close that cleft more. It gives you more rotation of the forearms to help rotate that face forward. For sure. From there, it's going to be ball position and where our setup is. So ball position a lot of times with golfers, I'll face you this way, we get it way too far forward in the stance, that moves the path quickly left. Yep. Very quickly left. So I always like for someone that's drawing the golf ball to say it's a club head inside the left heel. That's a really good. So if we just take that club head there, boom, that puts it in a good position. Now from here, it's just taking the sternum of that player and pointing it behind their driver. Behind the golf ball, right? Basically. Yeah. Behind the driver. The driver, yeah. If someone's slicing it, I'm moving it back behind the driver. So basically you're getting the shoulder here and turn it close. Close to the target. Exactly. So if I faced this way here and I get that club head width in there, I take this. Turn it close. I turn that close and I keep it back there. Sure. That gets my plane going over the right. That also adds the tilt that we need to help swing up onto the golf ball. And that's going to encourage more of a in the out swing path. Which gets rid of the slice. Now if they don't fix the grip, you're still going to push it. It's not going to slice, but it'll be a push. So we've got to close the face first. Yep. And then we're going to work on the path. Correct. Getting the shoulder to close. Because from there, it's easier to start getting around. So strong grip. So you get your stronger grip on there. The ball position much more inside. Yeah. And I'm going to take my shoulder here and boom, this way. All I'm going to feel there is have that player feel like they're going to swing underneath that going back. Sure. Where they have to get that left shoulder back. Yes. This way more. More towards their right. So a little bit more. A little deeper here. Their lead shoulder gets more deeper. And from that position, they should be able to swing through. From the inside. From that prep path, be more inside. And as long as we teach that person to get their face square, that ball's not going to slice. Just back. Give that feel for me one time. Just going to the top. Don't swing through. Get a little deeper there for me. Yes. Thank you. Right there. So I almost feel like my back is facing the target. Yeah. You're right here. You're feeling that right shoulder go way towards the target. Sure. All right. Let's see one. That ain't slicing. Nope. Pull that one a little bit. But that was a nice little draw there. That was a nice little draw that's working in there. And that's how very quickly we can get someone away from a slice pattern and into a place where they're hitting it straighter. A lot further with less spin. And sometimes we might see a draw pattern pretty quick. Sure. So if you're someone who sliced the ball, work on the grip. Get the face to close. Work on your setup. Get your shoulder to close. Ball position. Make sure it's straight inside. Because if it's, again, too far forward, that moves the path more than. 100%. And if you have any other questions, come see us at the golf house. At the golf house. You got it, brother. All right. Appreciate it, man. There she is. Yeah. BJ would call that a power fade, but that ain't slicing. Watch out on the green.
