ChaiGPT quietly released the ability to read your desktop apps. So for the paid users, you'll notice this little button here that allows you to pick which apps you want to work with. These are mostly coding apps at the moment, but what it allows you to do is it allows ChaiGPT to see exactly what you're working on in the coding app so that when you're asking a related question about that, it will be able to spit out the answer in relation to your app and what you've got there without you going back and forth between different apps. So it's like having co-pilot or someone shadowing you and seeing exactly what you're doing and guiding you. Now, one of the limitations is it doesn't actually perform the actions for you. You still need to manually copy it from ChaiGPT into your coding app. Nonetheless, it still saves a lot of time and I hope that they roll out to more different apps because I guess their goal is to keep you inside the ChaiGPT app. Comment which apps you would like to connect to ChaiGPT next.
