So flipping the club through impact can cause a number of different things. The main thing is you're losing a lot of distance cause you're not properly compressing it. Flipping the ball, flipping the club rather, looks something like this, where you're getting here and you're getting stuck behind here. Then right about at this position, you're throwing your hands at it. And you're almost in this position through impact where the shaft is behind the club head. And therefore you're losing a lot of distance and a lot of power. So something like this would look like a flip. Maybe a little weak shot out to the right. It is kind of playable, but you're losing a lot of distance out in the course. So first let's talk about what is the ideal impact position because that's what we're mainly trying to fix and correct in the swing.
