Part 2 | How to use Chat GPT tasks as Google Al...
using ChatGPT Tasks as Google Alerts, and this is part two. So in this video, I'm gonna walk you through exactly how you can set this up for yourself, but if you didn't see video one, essentially what it is, is I use ChatGPT Tasks to go out and research news and trends about my industry every day, and deliver them to me in a concise, summarized version of only what's gonna be relevant to me, making them much better choice than Google Alerts. Let's get in. But make sure you bookmark this for later and drop me a follow if you've not already. So you're gonna go to ChatGPT, and then you're gonna go and navigate to the model selector and make sure that you have got ChatGPT 4.0 with scheduled tasks. Now, just so you're clear, you will need a paid plan to access this feature, so this could be either the Plus or the Pro plan. Then once you've done that, you're gonna go ahead and start a new prompt. Now, I'm gonna put in a prompt that I've built and I will put it on screen for you now so you can take a screenshot of it and extract the text using ChatGPT 4.0 later. And then what we're gonna do is go ahead and prompt that. Now, basically, this prompt is asking to collect news about my industry. And I have also got in here built-in to ask me questions to understand exactly what I wanna cover, but also to ask me one by one so I don't get overwhelmed. So I've gone ahead and answered the questions. So basically, it's asked me questions of what's most valuable to me right now. Now, I've been really vague, to be honest. I've just put AI, the practical use cases within AI, and then also looking at online services such as businesses of what niche within that. And then now it's come back and just giving me a clarifying of how it's gonna be implemented, trends or both, I've asked for both. Now it's fully understand what I'm looking for. It's just gone ahead and created the task for me. So what's gonna happen now is every day it's gonna give me a summarised version of those news articles or trends and it's gonna deliver them to me with a notification every day. Now I've got my notifications set to push notifications and I have the mobile app. So that comes up on my phone, but if you've got email active, you can also receive an email every day with that notification as well, taking you back to this chat. And I'll give you a preview of what it sends through to me. So I've been using this for a few days now. And as you can see, it has summarised the articles perfectly, categorised them for me, given me links, and obviously giving me the headlines of exactly what's included. So these are articles that are only relevant to me. And some of these I've actually covered in separate videos because they have been really useful. This is exactly how you should be using ChatGPT tasks because it should be able to go away and do a task for you. It's so much more than a reminder. And when it comes to things like Google Alerts, that was very much a case of, yes, I got the alert, but I've still got to comb through the article. This is gonna do that for me. So there's so many use cases where it can go ahead, do some work on a regular frequency to take that task away from me. Now, don't get me wrong, when it gets integrated into tools and stuff in the future, there's gonna be so much more useful, but there's still a lot more use cases for this now than it's getting credit for. Hopefully you found this useful, but I would love you to drop a comment and let me know if there's any other tasks that you would potentially like to get rid of with ChatGPT, and I can do a separate video.
