Work just changed in a huge way. You won't believe what Microsoft just announced this morning. I think we all expected that Chat GPT was coming to the 365 suite, but what we didn't expect was how deeply integrated it is going to be out of the box. So first, Microsoft is adding Chat GPT to Word docs, Outlook, Spreadsheets, PowerPoints, the whole suite. This new co-pilot for Work can do things like translating your Google Docs into PowerPoints, drafting follow-up emails for you out of your meeting transcripts, and even teaching you how to actually use Excel. They also announced Business Chat, which is basically like Chat GPT for your business. But what's crazy about all of this is it's not generic Chat GPT. Every business will get their own customized version from their business's data. I think we're moving towards a world where AI is so deeply integrated into our work, and this marks a huge step in that direction.
