Does your swing get too laid off at the top? This is one of the most common reasons I see for getting steep on the downswing. As you apply force down towards the ball, it throws that club over the top. Instead, we want to get that club more loaded down the target line so it has room to fall underneath. Think about where your thumbs are pointing. Don't point them over your back shoulder. This is what's going to roll that club into that laid off position. Instead, think about getting your thumbs to point towards the target at the top of the backswing. This will position in a way where it can shallow much better. Follow for more golf tips.
