If you've tried everything but can't seem to rotate more, check the front knee. If you don't allow that front knee to move, this is a major contributor to shutting off hip rotation. This knee should have freedom to move as the hips rotate, similar to how Xander is moving here. To practice this, put a ball between your knees and don't let it drop as you turn. Instead, feel like you squeeze the ball on the way back. For a bonus tip, you don't want to keep this knee stuck under the body in the downswing, as this will limit rotation as well. That knee has to clear so the hips can open. Again, just like you can see with Shoffley. To tie this into one drill, you should keep the ball in place on the way back, but let it drop on the way down. This will help the hips open on the backswing and clear on the downswing.
