AI coding tips from the CEO of Lovable.dev - ti...
Go from idea to app in seconds. This is my new favorite AI coding tool called lovable.dev. Recently, I got to hear from the CEO of lovable.dev. I asked them a couple questions that are the most common questions I get from people. Number one, when it comes to AI coding for you, how do you continue to add new features without introducing bugs? Especially if you're non-technical, this is a really hard problem. CEO said it's all about being smart, breaking it down, and learning over time, and he pointed to these tips and tricks to help you get better results. Number two, if you have zero technical background, should you still hire a developer to help? CEO of lovable says when it's more than a few features, you do need a human engineer to architect it, and what he recommends for non-technical folks is to create the absolute basic functionality yourselves, and then when you've validated the product with paying users, hire an engineer. And the most exciting features on lovable's roadmap is collaboration for product teams and freelancers, and also developing more Figma-like capabilities into lovable itself while improving speed and reliability. I personally haven't used Figma in weeks because I've been using lovable to prototype my front ends and workflows. Highly recommend you check it out if you haven't already, and if you're looking to meet many other indie hackers using lovable and other AI coding tools, there are a lot of niche communities and creators on Twitter building stuff out with AI coding tools and sharing their progress and tips and tricks.
