Y'all, you want to know what I'm excited about as a venture capitalist heading into 2024? I freaking love these business in a box companies. So here is an example of one I had actually passed because I'm an idiot, but it is called Moxie and they are doing amazing. Med spas are absolutely ripping and why not have a business in a box where they help you get set up as a LLC, have your point of sale up and running, be your entire backend vertical SaaS stack. And what's really interesting is that further downstream, let's say they want to take the approach and do a rollup, they already know what their best performing med spas are. Why not maybe even buy some? Many of you are probably familiar with Angel List, but they're essentially this, right? Like I launched my first fund with them. They set up everything with the SEC. They set up my LLC, my management company. They literally run my entire end to end out of the box to get to market really quickly for a venture fund. One of my portfolio companies is called Beacon. They started off as a marketplace to help you buy and sell a B2B main street business. So nail salons, HVAC businesses, you name it. And now they're helping you secure the financing, get set up as the buyer and being that business in a box to even help you essentially buy that business. Business in a box is like this more deeply rooted earlier on entry point into vertical SaaS. Sense is one of my favorite vertical SaaS businesses. I am not an investor, but I know the founder really well. They are the entire operating system for laundromats. They have a ton of market share downside is it's probably only a $2 billion market, but I think they'll eat up all of it. What's really compelling is what if they help you open one, buy one, get started, and also maybe even do some roll up. So business in a box, really bullish, especially for these really unsexy businesses, main street businesses that I think are continuing to just absolutely smash.
