Instead of humping the ball, do this to fix your early extension in your golf swing. First, let's take a look at how the hips work with these great players. You'll notice that they don't come away from this line, but instead it almost looks like they're pushing past it during the downswing. Set up in front of a wall and make sure there's a slight room between yourself and your ass and the goal here is to try and push back against the wall as you start your downswing. You notice how much space in front of you you have for your arms to swing through? You gotta be careful here not to lose your head position and just push all yourself back like this. But making sure you maintain the position of your head while pushing back to stay in posture through the swing.
