all shitty ball strikers will start with their hands back all good ones will will start here you at least have a chance so you're set up for success here you're set up for failure like that so what feel is suggesting here is to have the shaft lean at address as it will make it easier for you to come back to this position on the way down if you have it neutral or get the shaft running down center of the chest you're more likely going to release the club face too early and flip like this so if you're struggling to compress the ball try leaning the club at the start and you can see dj does this as his trigger move and because of his bowed wrist and the amount of speed he generates he needs this shaft lean to square up the club face but if your club head speed is not nearly as fast just start with a slight shaft lean and hopefully you'll be able to compress the ball better if you want to learn more and work directly with me comment golf and i'll send you a link to my academy
