Google Illuminate

Google built a tool that turns research papers into podcasts. So you know that really important paper where the transformer architecture was introduced? This one, attention is all you need. You could either read this, or you could use Google Illuminate and play that paper titled attention is all you need. What's the core idea here? Well, the big idea in this paper is that we can build a really effective sequence transduction model without using recurrence or convolutions of the usual suspects, right? And instead just rely on attention mechanism. That was synthesized voice and a synthesized conversation that was created by Google's Illuminate tool. That wasn't a real conversation about this paper. What it does is it takes an academic paper and turns it into a podcast style audio conversation that you can listen to. And there's a ton of papers already in here. I'm going to join the waitlist.
