So let's say that I operated a gym and I wanted to grow my business using automation. Here are a couple ideas of things that I might do. First idea, I would start Joshy's Run Club and this would be open to the public. Anybody could join and it would be a leads pipeline. So we would get people to join the club and then eventually we would try and convert them into members of our gym. I would start by building a really clean landing page, something like this using card, and I would connect that to a database on Airtable. You could also absolutely use other tools. I just happen to know these ones and it's easy for me to work with them. In order to drive engagement within our Run Club and create a real sense of community, I would use automated text message reminders in order to let people know when we have an upcoming run. And in order to gauge headcount, they can just respond yes or no if they're interested in coming. I would use Twilio and IntegraMAT to manage all of the SMS messaging back and forth and it would be completely automated. There's a million ways for us to go from here, but if we wanted to continue to grow our Run Club, aka our leads pipeline, we could do a promotion like bring a friend, get a free t-shirt, something like that. Can we talk about the fact that this shirt is kind of fire and that I might have to drop some merch? We do eventually want our Run Club members to convert into paying gym customers and one thing that we could do is send them workouts that encourage them to schedule a training session at our gym. The crazy part about all this is that I was able to build it in just a couple of days. Lately, I've been doing much more complex projects and helping all different types of businesses automate their systems and become way more efficient and better all around.
