every company that claims to be an AI agent better run for the goddamn hills right now honestly- i honestly think zapier is the first company that i have seen do agents where i'm like and that is exactly what i meant this is what people want okay let me show you old zapier like looked like this you know it was good but it was obviously like very linear this is how computers think about things but how would i teach somebody how to do this if they weren't a computer but an actual real assistant if i was onboarding a human being it would look something like this look at my calendar events for today find all the external participants and do a web search for each of those email addresses summarize who those people are tell me the name of the meeting the time of the meeting and the name and relevant information of each participant and that's literally it hit test behavior and there it is and if i want to change absolutely anything about this like let's say i don't want it to send me a slack i want it to send me an email or let's say i want it to look up the name of the person who i'm having a meeting with in a database that i have of all of the people who have reached out to me there's no limit to the number of apps that i can add here like airtable, my asana, an excel, google doc, hubspot just think about it this way if you were going to hire an assistant tomorrow and instantly give them access to every tool in your company overnight whatever you could train them to do you could train a zapier agent to do it takes a little bit more time and a little bit of finesse but once you're done, you're done
