The setup that started it all. I was helping a friend with his takeaway and needed something to hold up alignment sticks. I saw an empty beer box by the recycling and realized the 4 edges were the same length. That meant I could easily turn it into an equilateral triangle. 60° would closely match the lie angle of a golf club. So I cut one edge of the box, turned it into a triangle, taped it together with some packing tape, poked some holes in it and inserted alignment sticks. The first ever Golf Boks. The face of the box made it easy to get the takeaway started right, and it was easy to know that the alignment sticks were at the right angle. I use this setup so often with students who have a solid swing and maybe just need a stronger visual. It’s also very helpful if you struggle with hooks because it forces you to stay on top of the plane. Hope this helps, Sebastian ⛳️📦 #golftrainingaids #golftips #golfswing #golfpractice #golfcoach

Old way, new way. This is the original playing board setup. Use it to fix an inside take away or swing it across the ball. Practice hands in, club out on your take away where your hands stay inside the noodle and your club head stays outside. You can easily add a second box or more improvement on your club path and centerness of contact. Let's set it up. Three sticks, two noodles, one box. First stick in the center hole labeled stance width and going through the other side. Next we'll do these swing playing sticks. We put them angled like this. But this hole can be tricky to find because it's hidden by this tape. So I poke it straight through this hip sway hole first. Then move it to this swing playing hole and put it all the way in. Repeat on the other side. Add the foam noodles, start practicing with feedback and get better.
