This is the old way of doing sales, I'm gonna show you the new way and the modern way that's disrupting the new way. The new way that's been this way for the last like 15 years is you hire someone for lead gen, someone to close, and then you have a CSM who manages upsell or renewal, but sometimes you have an account manager who just handles upsell. But look how expensive this gets. It's really not sustainable, only for VC backed companies that have a billion dollars to blow, especially because this is basically the pyramid that you have to have for the company to be making a lot of money. So instead, I want to have the SDR, who instead of making a bunch of emails to take them all day, they're doing all the cold calls, all the LinkedIn outreach, and they're doing a bunch of ABM, really good outreach to a very small group of people. Then we have email AI that's just sending out emails on our behalf, hit me up if you want to learn how this is done effectively, I send like 25,000 emails a week. Then you have an account executive where instead of having to hire another one, we get one that's really good and we hire them an assistant to do all the non revenue generating tasks for them. And then you have your CSM.
