Absolutely crazy startup growth metrics. #start...
The startup world is getting absolutely positively crazy, especially in terms of revenue and growth metrics. Check out this figure above me. It highlights a handful of different startups and the takeaway, small teams are the future. This shows how fast some of these startups have been able to scale from zero to some target ARR in some amount of time with some small number of employees. So for example, starting at the bottom here, Aragon AI, zero to 10 million in ARR in two years with only nine people. So that's pretty quick. Zero to 10 million in two years with only nine people. But then you go up to Lovable, zero to 10 million in ARR in two months, not two years, two months with 15 people. Then you effectively take it a step further. Bolt.new, zero to 20 million in ARR, so not 10 million, 20 million in two months again with 15 people. Then you get to some of these crazy statistics like 11Lab, zero to 100 million in two years with 50 people. Mid Journey, zero to 200 million in ARR in two years with only 10 people. That is wild. And then at the very top, Cursor, zero to 100 million in ARR in 21 months with 20 people. So in conclusion, growth numbers and revenue metrics are getting absolutely wild for startups these days. I think historic benchmarks of trying to 2X or 3X or 4X are just completely going to change here, especially with the introduction of AI and all of these crazy growth stories. Being at an early stage startup right now over the next couple years is going to be wild.
