Let me show you how a small landscaping business leveraged AI automation to cut costs and increase revenue. A few months ago, our client who is a landscaper came to us with a problem. He was growing increasingly frustrated with the amount of time he was spending answering calls, emails, and texts, answering general inquiries, and scheduling appointments. He initially thought of employing someone to do this for him, but decided it would be too expensive. So we discussed with our client a way we could use AI to reduce his customer service demands and streamline the booking process for his customers. Let me show you how we did this. Firstly, we built an AI agent on VoiceFlow that is trained on the landscaping business's data, stuff like services he provides, prices, and frequently asked questions. And then we've integrated the agent to his website, social media accounts, and WhatsApp to capture the inquiries. So when a lead asks a question here, they will instantly get a response. Then here, we give the lead an option to ask another question or get a quote. If they decide to get a quote, we then ask a series of questions to collect the relevant data, stuff like type of service, size of the area, and environmental factors. This data is then sent to chatGPT in make.com, where we use AI to generate an estimated quote. Some jobs are too complex to be able to use AI to give a quote. So in this case, we get the landscaper to call within 24 hours to discuss the job. The quote is then emailed to the lead. They can then decide whether they are happy with the price and can request a call to book an appointment. If they don't request a call to book an appointment, we've already captured contact info into a spreadsheet where we can follow up again the next day by email, call, or SMS. So this automation does a few things. Give leads instant answers to inquiries, gives quotes instantly, and reduces customer service demands for the business.
