If you're a business or a product leader and you're trying to figure out, how the heck do I bring AI into my product, this video is for you. I used to be a data scientist at Facebook and then I had my own software startup and now I basically help people figure out how to use AI in their business or products for a living. I'm going to walk you through the three types of emerging user experiences that I'm seeing across a lot of different AI products in hopes that it helps you have a good framework for what the opportunities for your product might be. And I made it into a chart. So first we have this bucket of AI co-pilots. And basically these are tools that use AI to help their user complete a given task faster. They usually feel like the AI is working in tandem with the user. And a really good example of this is any type of autocomplete product. The second type of UX pattern I'm seeing a lot is these workflow products. This is where we're seeing a lot of tools that basically abstract away the idea that you have to like write a prompt to get these AI systems to generate something for you. You might even see them stack different prompts together in some type of like prompt workflow. And then the third and newly most popular are these chatbot type systems, which are really similar to chat GPT. What I'm seeing is people are customizing them in one of two ways. Either they are constraining them to only talk about a certain type of topic or they are augmenting what the chatbot knows with an external data set. So say like a set of reviews or a database of information and the list goes on.
