Do you know what B-roll is? If you don't, let me explain. B-roll's job is to make a video more interesting. For example, I recently went on a trip to Lisbon and we probably wanna make a reel about it. To make the video more interesting, I can overlay clips of my experience providing a clearer picture of exactly where I went than if I used what's called A-roll, which is this, telling you exactly what I did by just talking to the camera alone. So to level up your B-roll, you wanna make sure that it's dynamic. Ensure that you have your subject moving in your videos. And you also wanna make sure that your footage flows smoothly. By adding a subtle key frame effect that slowly zooms into your clips, you can more seamlessly integrate your footage with your A-roll and help grip your attention of your viewer for the entire duration of your video.
