Instead of ghosting, say this. Hey, I really enjoyed getting to know you, but I just don't think we're the right fit. I don't want to waste any more of your time, and I truly wish you all the best. Don't give me this bullshit that this sounds like HR. This is called direct adult communication. Let someone know, because what this tells me is that you're too scared of confrontation or being honest with somebody more than it says anything about their behavior or what they're doing to you.
