Here are three things that CEOs, CMOs who are selling anything online should check on a daily basis. The biggest mistake I see businesses making are focusing on vanity metrics. Traffic, impressions, and leads. Metric number one is SQL versus MQLs. Are these leads actually qualified to buy? Not all leads are created equal. Look at the source and leads and adjust accordingly. Number two, customer acquisition cost. How much are you spending to get one customer? Lower is better, continually optimize. The last metric is time to close.
