If you have the tendency to really open this clubface through impact and hit a really weak shot out to the right, give this drill a try. So first we're going to start out with out of club. So put your club down to the ground. What I want you to do is put your front hand out here like you're kind of set up to a shot and then your backhand, I want you to just come through and hit this hand with your palm. Now it seems pretty easy, right? But what's going to happen is if you were to open the clubface here, now you would actually miss this hand and your palm would be pointed towards the sky. So if you're set up like this, you want to come here and just smack the palm like this. Do that a couple times and allow yourself to feel like your palm is pointed more towards your target instead of up towards the sky. Now same thing here. Put your palm flat on your clubface like this on the shaft and as you're coming through, feel that same sensation you were feeling as if you were slapping your hand like this. You wouldn't open that clubface or open this palm this way towards the sky and take a look at what happens here. That clubface immediately opens, so feel this palm stay towards the ground like you're hitting this shaft. Now when you put both your hands on the club and we're starting to come through, have that same sensation now getting that palm down towards the target and in turn that's going to really help you keep that clubface square.
