Spiritual practice #wintersolstice
I want to share with you a practice for winter solstice that changed my life this last year and that I really believe is super potent. So to start, this isn't my practice. I actually learned it last year from someone else, but I cannot find where it came from. It was a short video. So you're going to come up with 10 actions that you would like to take forward in 2025, and you're going to write them down. So an example would be write my book, run a marathon, apply for these jobs, focus on losing this weight. Whatever actionable steps you have that you are thinking of taking in your life or what you're trying to focus on, like do a retreat, you're going to write 10 of those down on a piece of paper. Once you have it written down, you're going to separate all 10 sheets of paper and you're going to fold them up. So it should look like this when you have all 10 sheets of paper in there folded up so you can't see which one they are. So then on the day of the 22nd, the night after you do this with your 10 sheets of paper, you are going to start each day burning one sheet of paper. By the night of the 31st, you should have one sheet of paper left in your box. You're going to get rid of one every day and you should have one at the end and you should not know what is there. So on the day of the 31st, you should take your sheet, the last sheet that's available, and you should open it and read it. And whatever is left, whatever action is there, is what the universe is directing you energetically to focus on. That is the number one goal for you to focus on where everything else will stem from.
