These are my top secrets for making viral videos and everything you need to know to make scroll-stopping, high-quality content. This year I received over 300 million views on all my travel content, so today I'm sharing all the tips and tricks I use to make content that goes viral. Okay, first, before you even hit that record button, you have to do your research first. Yes, boring, I know, but this is a step you can't miss. So you need to think about how your video is going to give value to someone because the more saves and shares you get on an engaging video equals more views. Now an easy way to do this is simply ask your audience what they need help with or one of the best ways to get content ideas is to check the TikTok creator search insight tool. This is where you can get suggested and trending search terms. However, the content gap section is where you want to pay the most attention as these phrases will have a ton of searches but not many videos, meaning your specialized content will have more of a chance of going viral. Next, you need a text hook that's going to grab someone's attention and actually give them a reason to watch your video. For example, let's take the search term, best restaurants Copenhagen, and turn this into a catchy title like, save these restaurants for your next trip to Copenhagen. The word save tells the viewer what action to take, whereas words like you and your connect to the viewer personally which makes them feel like this video is made just for them which is what we want to be super engaging. High quality content also needs a visual hook too, so I recommend starting with the most exciting clip first, don't save the best to last. Say for my Copenhagen video, I'm going to use this colorful and eye-catching clip of this food at the start, and then get to your point quickly because unless you're posting a long chatty vlog, I recommend making your video no longer than 10 to 15 seconds max. I'm then going to add the locations of each restaurant both on the video and in the caption to encourage people to save my video to their TikTok favorites. And to tie everything together, you want to add an audio that fits the vibe of what you're posting about. Copenhagen is a very cool city, so I want to find a lo-fi track with a good beat. You can easily do this in the sound section on TikTok. TikTok knows me so well that the for you song suggestions always bang on, this one right here is literally perfect. Okay, now I'm ready to share the video, sit back and watch the views roll in, but this is also when I pay close attention to TikTok's analytics. This is where I can review things like retention rate and traffic sources and use this data to help me create my next video. So just remember to always make a video that is educational, entertaining and engaging and you're good to go.
