SRS 175 - Dr. Gabrielle Lyon on Sleep
How much sleep do we need? There are a few genetic outliers that can get away with four hours of sleep. And they don't feel tired. They roll like that. You know, the operative community self-selects for those people. No, I didn't. How do they do that? Fascinating. I had a sleep neuroscientist on my podcast. She is still active duty. And that was one of the topics that we covered that, you know, in terms of how much sleep we need, the average person probably needs seven, eight hours. There's a range, whether it's six to eight. And then there's a handful of people that function amazing because of the genetic mutation on four or so hours. And it doesn't seem to have the negative implications. No kidding. Yeah. You're probably one of those people. Well, that makes me happy to hear, you know, because I can't sleep.
