So crazy to think in 2 weeks I’ll be home after 9 months away 🥲 I have absolutely loved getting to spend this year exploring the world, meeting new people, and working on myself. Traveling like this has been a dream of mine for over 7 years and it’s been incredible to finally make it happen. ✈️ All that said, I am SO excited to be heading back home and have a little more structure in my life 🤣 And especially to be able to spend 100% of my time on building my business! This is everything I did during my sixth week of starting a business. Hi my name is Grace, I quit my job in private equity to travel and I'm now starting a CPG business instead of getting a job. If you've been following along you know I'm at the tail end of this quarter life crisis slash world tour that I started after quitting my job earlier this year in April. My parents were just here in Asia visiting me for the last two weeks so I decided to be fully present with them and just enjoy my time with them. But that means I didn't get that much done on the business front. I did say I would post these weekly recaps every week so this is week six and it mostly just consisted of some back and forth with the creative director I'm working on, on my branding. We still haven't fully nailed down the color palette but I'm hoping to do that this week and then I can work on some packaging and label mock-ups this week so fingers crossed on that. And that's basically it, not a very productive week but life is all about balance so that's week six. I'm finishing up almost nine months of travel in two weeks and I'm excited to be back home so I can fully focus on the business but it's definitely bittersweet wrapping up such an amazing experience. So these videos should hopefully get a lot more interesting on the business front in a couple weeks. Until next time!
