Definitely one of my best purchases yet🤌🏼 Table...
I just spent over $13,000 on this old machine that makes table legs. It was honestly worth more. This beautiful beast is called a duplicator lathe. This block spins as it would in a regular lathe, and while it does that, this little pin back here is tracing a template I clamped to the back of the machine, and as it's tracing that template, that is getting transferred with this knife that cuts the block to match the profile. Unfortunately, it is a three-phase machine, which I do not have, so I had to get a rotary converter. I'm going to do one more pass. It used to take me about an hour to make each table leg, and now we can do each one in roughly 10 minutes. So if you need table legs, let me know.
