I've been making about an extra $2,000 a month selling office hour sessions, which is basically pay to access one hour of my time I jump on a zoom with you and we can work through any of the following So I'm a brand and marketing expert and I'm somebody who's always giving away ideas and advice on calls So instead of doing that for free all the time, I decided to set up a booking platform What I use is Squarespace and Acuity. So I love Squarespace. It's really easy to build a website on it They own this company called Acuity Which is a scheduling app where you can set up session types and then you can set a price with the session set a time Of the session write a description and then it integrates seamlessly with your Squarespace website. So that's exactly what I did Here's a look at what my page looks like It's really simple and straightforward if you're looking for consulting Brainstorming or ideation on your business or career next steps Trying to figure out what your services or offerings are if you want to talk through your pricing or scope of work If you need advice on navigating interpersonal dynamics at work if you want marketing and brand strategy Anything like that all the areas of expertise I have we can talk about them in a one-on-one office hour session Basically, so people will go to my website if they want to do this They'll click book and then they pay the money. They book a time directly on my calendar I get a notification and it's scheduled on my calendar and I only have Mondays available Because I don't want these to pop up like randomly throughout the week so I know on Mondays I'll usually have a couple of sessions and when people ask me for ideas or if they can pick my brain or connect with me If I don't know them and I think it will take more than five minutes.
