Has anyone else got to this stage with their parents? So I've been at home for a week now, and it seems to me they're playing a game where each of them will try and separate me off, then whichever one of them's got me will try their best to convince me that the other one of them is losing their marbles more than they are. For example, yesterday I went on a walk with my mum, and she was like, you know, your father's memory isn't quite what it used to be. He is getting forgetful. Then she went to bed and my father turned to me and was like, Thomas, your mother is entering a phase of serious mental decline. And the truth is, I haven't got the heart to tell them they've both told me this five times already today.
